After all, your baby is a baby, and he/she will not be using it any time soon. But the night table is about convenience for YOU. At night when you are in your rocking chair/glider (we sell these beautiful, modern rockers), it can be very convenient to have a night stand next to you with a soft lighted lamp and a bottle nearby. If you do not have a glider, you still may want a night table next to your crib with a lamp nearby. And, as mentioned above, you could place the bottle there for feeding purposes. Buying the night table early on gives you one less thing to think about as the child gets bigger and you need to think about adding pieces for his/her room. Moreover, if you purchased a convertible crib, well then there you go mommy, the room is already coming together nicely!
