Couples come into our showroom with lots of questions about their nursery furniture and decor. They have trouble determining safety quality, colors, and pieces to purchase. If you’re new to MHC, here are some quick tips you may find useful to keep in mind before coming into our stores:
- Do you have a nursery theme? This isn’t for everyone, but if you’re thinking about it, here are some popular themes: Animals, Sports, Transportation, Winnie the Pooh, Curious George, Nature, Disney Designs, Gardens, etc.
- Budget of how much you want to spend
- Are you having a boy or girl or are you keeping the gender a surprise. This can make a difference with your baby furniture selections. You may want to look for pieces that seem more gender neutral than others.
Reminders:
1. Come to the store with the dimensions of the room you are trying to fill so that we can maximize the space in your room. There are lots of pieces to choose from in each collection.
2. Have an idea of how small/large each piece you want for your room should be (We have our dimensions, do you?)
3. Ask about your colour options (we have an amazing selection). You can also take a peek at the colours online at www.mhcfurniture.com
4. Customize your furniture with the knobs of your choice. You can personally choose from twelve different styles to complement your furnishings.
5. If you want to match the furniture to a colour you have in mind, bring a sample in with you. We will do our best to find the perfect match!
6. Be aware that our manufacturing process takes between 6-8 weeks. We make everything new for you as you order it. Be sure not to leave the nursery to the last minute!
